A Space To Process

Welcome to A Space To Process

WISHING YOU A WARM WELCOME

I am Tracey, a BACP registered Psychotherapist, Teacher and a novice writer. I’ve been working therapeutically with individuals for over 15 years.

A Space to Process has been created to support you on your journey to know and understand yourself so deeply that you are able to offer yourself the care, compassion and support you need in order to process and move through your experiences with greater ease.

My aim is to hold a loving and compassionate space for you to process your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and experiences so that you may unravel and/or release the ideas, blocks and patterns that are preventing you from living your life in a way that feels good to you. I currently

work online with ADULTS offering Individual Therapy.

More About Me

I am a deeply intuitive empath and a warm, honest, down-to-earth woman.  I have a deep  respect for the lessons life teaches us and believe wholeheartedly in the importance and value of processing these experiences so that we may evolve and grow individually and collectively.

Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.

- Brene Brown

A Process not a Problem…

As an empath I have spent my whole life feeling deeply into ALL emotions, thoughts, feelings and experiences and many of those years getting completely lost in them and judging myself harshly for my inability to ‘fix’, ‘change’ or ‘manage’ them.

After much trial and error I realised that if I continued to ‘work on myself’ from a place of self-judgement then any therapeutic tool I attempted to use could only take me so far. What I needed most was to develop a different kind of relationship with myself and with all the emotions, thoughts, feelings and experiences I was having.

I have perfected the art of effectively processing all of my experiences and using them all as opportunities to know and understand myself more deeply and authentically. These days I wholeheartedly welcome all of my experiences and fully embrace my process without seeing me or them as a problem and my sense of wellbeing has naturally evolved.

Slowing Down...

I am a huge advocate for slowing down and taking space to process what your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and experiences are trying to show you. I believe that however deeply painful or unwanted they may be, they always offer us an opportunity to know and care for ourselves more deeply.

I’m certain that blending this deeper self awareness with the ability to show ourselves compassion and support is what enables us to step into alignment with our highest potential.

As a teacher, I love the energy that comes from connecting with individuals in a group setting. Experience has shown me that a well facilitated group holds the potential for immense collective transformation and it is a joy for me to be a part of that.

If you are thinking about having therapy it’s really common to have lots of questions, I hope my website helps you find some of those answers and if not then please feel free to reach out.

I offer a free 20 minute consultation for anyone who is interested in working with me and who may have some questions about that.

Testimonials

Sarah, 43

I am so grateful that we connected. What I like about working with Trea is that she is so good at asking important questions.

They are not always questions I want to answer, but on more than one occasion, she has asked me a question that has stopped me in my tracks and really made me reflect. I trust her implicitly, and I feel completely comfortable with her.

Slyvia, 43

Trea has helped me improve the way I view and relate to myself

and has encouraged me to pursue my passions and open to new possibilities in my life, all of which has been very meaningful and worthwhile. I would highly recommend Trea to anyone looking for support in mental health services.

Ahmed, 29

Trea is such a warm and open woman that I felt instantly safe with her, I could be myself without worrying if she would judge me.

I’ve never shared with anyone what I’ve shared with her and it has felt like such a relief to say it out loud. Not keeping this stuff a secret has felt so freeing, I don’t feel so controlled by my thoughts anymore and everything about my life is slowly changing.

MM (Parent), 47

A friend of mine recommended Trea after she had helped her teenage daughter tremendously.  I took my son who is diagnosed with ADHD to see Trea and I am so happy with this decision.

He was happy to go and meet her each time and just that says so much! She helped him to feel much more confident in himself and accepting of his diagnosis and she taught many strategies that he uses to get the best out of himself.

Trea is professional, calm and knows the right way to talk to teens and get into their heart and minds

Chloe, 29

The main transformation for me was that Trea helped me to realise that my emotions don’t dictate who I am and that there is validity in how I feel.

This has been invaluable for me. I have taken many lessons and reminders away from our sessions that serve me in everyday life. I feel like I have extra tools now for moments where I doubt myself or lose my temper. I would wholeheartedly recommend Trea to anyone.

Linh (Parent), 56

My daughter was struggling with intense anxiety which prevented her from going into school, we were at a loss with how to go about helping her!

Trea was recommended to us by her school. She was wonderful with our daughter from the very beginning, patient and kind and over time our daughter has transformed into a bright, confident and happy girl. She is back in school, making friends and doing brilliantly with her studies.

Trea made all this possible; she worked with us as a family and with our daughter’s school to make sure we were all on the same page supporting her. We are so grateful to her and highly recommend her.

Christina, 33

Trea was exactly the type of therapist I was looking for, she offered me a place where I could speak openly and honestly about all of the thoughts

and feelings that I was having which I didn’t feel comfortable sharing with friends and family. She tapped into my strengths and encouraged me to use them to help me process what was going on for me,  encouraging me to write songs and journal…it really helped. It felt like she knew me after a very short time. Because of the way in which she worked with me and how well it suited my personality, I felt a very quick relief after only a few sessions.

I can truly say that her therapy was life changing for me and helped me to come to peace with some things that happened but also went beyond that and helped me to be truly happy and content with who I am and taught me techniques which I will continue to use for life.

I would highly recommend Trea and I can honestly say that her therapy was the best money I have spent on myself!
